Interactive Tai Chi for all; Digital Entertainment for Senior Citizens


The talk will review and discuss the design and implementation approach of game design for senior citizens based on a natural user interface platform. The aim of this talk is to focus on game content that are designed to address the issue of age- related cognitive changes, and an innovative approach to computer user interfaces for senior citizens which provides ease of use and reduces learning curve for senior citizens who are not tech-savvy and familiar with traditional user interface.


Biography of Speaker


Wang Bin serves as the General Manager of Portege Pte Ltd which specialized in next generation Portable Interactive Human Machine Interaction Engine for education, wellness and entertainment. Before co-founding Portege in 2009, Mr Wang worked as a researcher in Social Robotics Lab, Interactive Digital Media Institute, the National University of Singapore where Portege was spined off.
